Uber Tools

Terms of Use

Last updated October 16, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

Uber Tools (ubertools.app, "the site") is operated by Uber Tools ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The tools

The site offers free tools that run in your browser. You don't need an account, and there's no charge. We may add, change or remove tools, or change how they work, at any time and without notice.

Your files

Your files stay yours: the tools process them in your browser, on your device, and we don't receive them (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for having the right to use the files and content you process, such as documents, images, videos and music of others, and YouTube thumbnails, whose rights belong to their creators.

Using the site fairly

You agree not to:

  • use the site to break any law or anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • try to break into, disrupt or overload the site or the servers that deliver it.

Results

We work to make every tool correct, but results can contain errors, and a browser or a file can behave in ways we didn't foresee. Check results that matter before you rely on them, and keep your original files.

Some results are for information only: health figures such as BMI and calories aren't medical advice, exchange rates are reference rates and not what a bank will give you, and calculators and converters aren't professional financial, legal or engineering advice.

Services of others

Some tools rely on services of others, such as the Frankfurter API for exchange rates and YouTube for thumbnails, and on your browser's own features, such as its voices. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for their availability or content.

Ownership

The site, its design, text and code belong to us. Parts of it are open-source software used under their own licenses, which remain with their authors.

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that they will be correct, uninterrupted, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any damages of any kind, direct or indirect, including lost data, files, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or your inability to use it. The site is free, and you use it at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute about them or the site is for the courts of the Province of British Columbia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your own courts.
