Questions
Can I use regular expressions?
Yes, with their groups in the replacement ($1, $<name>, $& for the whole match), \n for a line break and \t for a tab, and ^ and $ at each line if you like.
Can a bad regular expression freeze the page?
No, it runs separately and is stopped after a moment if it takes too long.
Can I replace line breaks?
Yes, with a regular expression: find \n and replace it with a space, or the other way round.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No, it's processed by your browser as you type.
