How to clean up text
- Paste your text.
- In the settings, tick what to clean: spaces, line breaks, punctuation, emojis, accents, HTML tags, links, e-mails, letter case, quotes, duplicates and more.
- Press Clean.
- Copy the clean text; Undo brings back the text as it was before each clean.
Questions
How do I remove line breaks from copied text?
Tick Replace line break with space, or Remove all line breaks, then Clean: handy for text copied from PDFs and emails.
Can it remove HTML tags?
Yes, it can strip all HTML tags and decode HTML character entities (such as &), leaving the plain text; or just remove ids, classes and inline styles.
Can I undo a clean?
Yes, Undo brings back the text as it was before each clean or paste.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No, it's cleaned by your browser, on your device.
