The voices are those of your browser and system, they differ from one device to the next; voices marked online send the text to the browser's maker to be spoken. The browser plays the speech itself and doesn't give it to the page, so it can't be saved as an audio file.
How to have text read aloud
- Type or paste your text.
- Pick a voice, listed by language.
- Set the speed, pitch and volume.
- Press Read aloud; the word being read is marked as it goes. Pause, resume or stop at any time.
