Sound
Save as
More bass: deeper, fuller sound, for small speakers and music without punch. The sound is brought down a little as a whole if a boost would make it clip.
Each sound is changed whole in your browser's memory, up to 20 minutes long. MP3, M4A and OGG are written at 192, 192 and 128 kbps; WAV and FLAC lose nothing. WMA and AIFF aren't read.
How to boost the bass of a song
- Drop your sound files on the page or choose them; videos give their sound.
- Pick Bass boost, Treble boost, Voice clarity or Less bass, or Custom to set five bands by hand.
- Pick the format; each file is changed as soon as it's added and can be downloaded.
Questions
How do I make bass louder?
Choose Bass boost: the lowest notes are raised by 6 dB and the low middle by 3, for a fuller sound on small speakers and phones.
How do I make a voice recording clearer?
Choose Voice clarity: the boom below a voice is lowered and the range that makes words clear is raised, for podcasts, calls and lectures.
Will boosting make it distort?
No: if a boost would push the loudest moment over the top, the whole sound is brought down a little, so it doesn't clip.
Are my files uploaded?
No. They're changed by your browser, on your device, and never sent anywhere.
