Semitones
Save as
Higher by 2 semitones, at the same speed: to sing along in your range, or to tune a song to an instrument.
Each sound is changed whole in your browser's memory, up to 20 minutes long. MP3, M4A and OGG are written at 192, 192 and 128 kbps; WAV and FLAC lose nothing. WMA and AIFF aren't read.

- Drop your songs or recordings on the page or choose them.
- Pick how many semitones higher or lower, from −12 to +12 (an octave).

Questions
How do I change the key of a song?
Move it by semitones: +2 is a whole tone higher, −3 a minor third lower, ±12 an octave. Its speed stays the same.
Does it change the speed?
No: the song lasts as long as it did, only higher or lower. To change both together, use Change Audio Speed, Like a tape.
Will it sound natural?
A few semitones sound natural; large changes make voices sound unnatural, as they do in any pitch shifter.
Are my files uploaded?
No. They're changed by your browser, on your device, and never sent anywhere.
