Drop music or a recording here
MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, or a video to take its sound
Sound
The video's own sound
Added sound volume
Shorter than the video
The sound takes the place of the video's own. The video is copied as it is, so the picture loses nothing.
Add a video and a sound.
Saved in the same kind of file as the video (MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV; others as MP4), the sound written as AAC in MP4 and MOV, Opus in WebM and MKV. Both files stay in your browser and are never uploaded. AVI, FLV, WMV, WMA and AIFF aren't read.
How to add music to a video
- Drop your video, then the music or recording (MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, OGG, or another video).
- Choose to replace the video's sound or mix with it, and set each volume.
- Choose whether a shorter sound repeats to the end; add and download.
Questions
Can I keep the video's own sound under the music?
Yes: choose Mix with its sound and lower the music's volume, to 50% for example, so voices stay clear.
What if the music is longer or shorter than the video?
Longer, it's cut at the video's end; shorter, it starts again until the video ends, or plays once if you choose.
Is the video's quality kept?
Yes: the picture is copied as it is; only the sound is written.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The video and the music are put together by your browser, on your device, and never sent anywhere.
