Fill PDF Forms

Fill in the fields of a PDF form and save it, in your browser

Drop a PDF form here

Or choose one, it's filled in your browser and never uploaded

The saved PDF keeps its fields fillable unless it's flattened, and everything else as it is. The answers are written in PDF's standard fonts (Latin letters); the fields' own fonts aren't kept.

How to fill a PDF form

  1. Drop your PDF form on the page or choose it; its fields are shown on its pages where they are.
  2. Fill in the text fields, tick the check boxes and radio buttons, and pick from the dropdowns and lists.
  3. Choose whether the saved PDF keeps its fields fillable or has the answers drawn on its pages (flattened).
  4. Save the filled PDF.

Questions

What does flatten mean?

A flattened PDF has the answers drawn on its pages: they can no longer be changed, and the form looks the same everywhere. Without flattening, the fields stay fillable.

My PDF has no fields to fill. What can I do?

Then it isn't a fillable form. Use Sign PDF, which adds text, the date and signatures anywhere on a page.

Does it work with every PDF form?

It fills standard PDF forms (AcroForm): text, check boxes, radio buttons, dropdowns and lists. Forms made only with Adobe LiveCycle (XFA) can only be filled in Adobe Reader; the page tells you when a PDF is one. Signature fields are left for Sign PDF.

Can I type answers in any language?

The answers are written in PDF's standard fonts, which have Latin letters only; an answer with other characters is pointed out before you save.

Is my form uploaded?

No. It's filled by your browser, on your device, so your personal details stay with you.
