Questions
Does the PDF look exactly like the Word document?
It keeps the content: text, headings, bold and italic, lists, tables and images. Word's exact layout, its fonts, page setup, headers, footers and text boxes, isn't kept, as it's written again in the browser rather than by Word.
Can it convert an old .doc file?
No, only .docx, the format Word has used since 2007. Open a .doc in Word or LibreOffice and save it as .docx first.
Which languages does it support?
Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts. Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Arabic text isn't supported yet.
Is my document uploaded?
No. It's read and turned into a PDF by your browser, on your device, and never sent anywhere.
